The Children of Promise
We really love the people here in Medellín or “Paisas” as they are called locally. They are very open and friendly. We have been praying that we could win some of our neighbors as we build friendships with them. One neighbor in particular is a 9 year old boy. His name is Santiago. His family life isn’t the greatest and we have used his time with us as a chance to love him. Recently, Katie thoroughly explained the gospel to him and he trusted Christ as Savior!
Foolish confounding the Wise
The Lord has surrounded us with professionals. My Spanish conversation partners range from doctors to professors to mathematicians. The kind of people that I feel stupid just standing next to. Well, God is opening doors and giving opportunities. I have been witnessing to all of them and am waiting patiently to see what God is going to do. Please band together with us in prayer so that they can come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior.
